New Bentley Flying Spur showed in Moscow
The third generation of the Bentley Flying Spur has received a new wide radiator grille, "diamond" door trim and many safety systems. Bentley presented its novelty in Moscow on September 12, but the car will start driving on the city roads only in the middle of next year.
The new Flying Spur is 5.3 meters long, 1.96 meters wide and 1.49 meters high. The wheelbase of the car is 3.19 m, and its curb weight is 2435 kilograms. The exterior of the car will be remembered with new taillights, matrix head optics and a new recognizable wide radiator grille, on top of which the brand nameplate flaunts on the hood. In addition, the car was added chrome trim and equipped with 22-inch wheels.
The engine under the hood of the Flying Spur is a 6-liter W12 biturbo engine, which is paired with an 8-speed dual-clutch gearbox. The engine power is 635 hp. sec., torque - 900 newton meters. The car accelerates to "hundreds" in 3.8 seconds, and the maximum speed of the Flying Spur is 333 kilometers per hour.
According to representatives of the brand, the new Flying Spur was developed from a "blank slate", with the previous generation it has only name in common. The third generation was equipped for the first time with electronic all-wheel steering combined with active all-wheel drive. The sedan also changed the suspension settings, now there are other positions between the comfortable and sporty settings.
Many new security systems are included as standard, including blind spot monitoring. New leather seats, new upholstery and diamond trim have been added to the array of wood trim options.
In addition, an edge-to-edge panoramic roof is available to order with an electric shade to match the ceiling finish, which can be selected from 15 colors. The top version will feature a 2200W Naim music system with 19 speakers, a 650W audio system is offered in the base, and a 1500W version with Bang & Olufsen music is also available. The cost of the car has not yet been announced, however, most likely, it will be close to the price of a coupe, which is sold in Russia for at least 14 million rubles.
